Highway Infrastructure Limited (NSE:HILINFRA) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) valued at ₹328,77,77,777 for operating the Kaza Fee Plaza on the Chilakaluripet–Vijayawada section of National Highway-16. The contract was formally awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on December 9, 2025.
The scope of the project covers operations on the NH-16 stretch between Km.355.000 and Km.437.500, spanning 82.5 kilometres in Andhra Pradesh.
Contract Terms and Responsibilities
The order has been granted through a competitive e-tendering process. As part of the agreement, Highway Infrastructure Limited will be responsible for:
- Operation and collection of user fees at the Kaza Fee Plaza.
- Upkeep and maintenance of the adjacent toilet blocks, including replenishment of all consumables.
The contract has been issued by a domestic entity, NHAI, and is to be executed over a one-year period.
The size of the awarded contract is ₹328.77 crore.
