Shakti Pumps Share Price Movement Over the Week
The share price recorded a cumulative rise of 30% over the past week despite today’s decline. On December 11, the stock closed nearly 14% higher. This was followed by a gain of 15.70% on December 15, while December 16 saw an additional rise of 3.76%. However, profit-taking was visible in the latest session, leading to a decline in the Shakti Pumps share price.
The stock’s recent upward movement coincided with multiple disclosures related to new solar pump orders from state agencies under government-backed renewable energy schemes.
Maharashtra Order Boosts Order Book
On December 11, the company received a Letter of Empanelment from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. The empanelment covers the supply of 16,025 off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities.
The project is part of the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pumps Yojana under the PM-KUSUM B scheme and spans the entire state of Maharashtra. The total value of the order is approximately ₹443.78 crore, inclusive of GST. The company stated that execution is expected within 60 days from the issuance of the work order or Notice to Proceed.
Orders from Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh
On December 12, Shakti Pumps announced the receipt of a Letter of Award from Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency. The order involves the supply of 1,200 Solar Water Pumping Systems across various locations in Jharkhand under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme. The total value of this order is around ₹23.98 crore, inclusive of GST.
On the same day, the company also received a work order from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. This order is for 2,033 stand-alone off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme. The order value is approximately ₹71.25 crore, inclusive of GST, with execution scheduled within 120 days.
