NMDC Limited (NSE:NMDC) has released its provisional iron ore production and sales figures for June 2026 and the cumulative performance for FY27 up to June. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

According to the filing, the company produced 5.15 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore during June 2026, compared with 3.57 MT recorded during the corresponding month last year. Iron ore sales also increased to 3.98 MT from 3.58 MT in June 2025.

Chhattisgarh Operations Record Higher Output

NMDC's Chhattisgarh operations contributed the larger share of production during the month. Iron ore production from the state stood at 3.58 MT in June 2026, compared with 2.28 MT in June 2025.

Sales from Chhattisgarh also increased to 2.79 MT during the month from 2.34 MT recorded in the corresponding period last year, reflecting higher dispatch volumes.

Karnataka Mines Deliver Mixed Performance

In Karnataka, iron ore production rose to 1.57 MT during June 2026 from 1.29 MT in June 2025. However, sales from the state declined marginally to 1.19 MT compared with 1.24 MT in the same month of the previous year.

The figures indicate that while production improved, sales volumes in Karnataka remained slightly below the comparable period last year.

First Quarter Production and Sales Update

For the period up to June 2026, NMDC reported cumulative iron ore production of 15.10 MT, compared with 11.99 MT during the corresponding period of FY26.

Cumulative sales reached 11.75 MT, compared with 11.51 MT during the same period last year.

Region-wise, Chhattisgarh produced 11.23 MT and recorded sales of 9.29 MT during the first quarter. Karnataka contributed 3.87 MT of production and 2.46 MT of sales during the period.

Operational Update Shared with Stock Exchanges

The company submitted the provisional production and sales update to the National Stock Exchange of India, BSE Limited and The Calcutta Stock Exchange in line with the disclosure requirements under SEBI LODR Regulations.
