Eicher Motors Limited (NSE:EICHERMOT) has released Royal Enfield's motorcycle sales figures for June 2026. The company sold 1,14,032 motorcycles during the month, compared with 89,540 units in June 2025, representing a 27% year-on-year increase. For the April-June period of FY27, total motorcycle sales reached 3,30,427 units, compared with 2,65,528 units in the corresponding period last year, reflecting 24% year-on-year growth.

Domestic sales drive overall growth

Domestic motorcycle sales stood at 1,02,930 units in June 2026, compared with 76,957 units a year earlier, registering 34% year-on-year growth. During the first quarter of FY27, domestic sales reached 3,01,174 units, up from 2,28,779 units in the corresponding period of FY26, representing 32% growth.

Exports, however, declined during the period. Overseas sales stood at 11,102 units in June 2026 compared with 12,583 units in June 2025, reflecting a 12% decline. For the April-June period, exports fell 20% year-on-year to 29,253 units.

Growth led by motorcycles up to 350cc

Motorcycles with engine capacity of up to 350cc recorded sales of 1,04,139 units in June 2026, compared with 76,680 units a year earlier, representing 36% year-on-year growth. Sales in this category totalled 2,94,626 units during the first quarter of FY27, up 30% from the corresponding period last year.

Models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc recorded 9,893 units in June, compared with 12,860 units in June 2025, reflecting a 23% decline. For the April-June period, sales in this category declined 6% year-on-year to 35,801 units.

Flying Flea C6 deliveries begin

Royal Enfield commenced customer deliveries of the Flying Flea C6 in Bengaluru during June 2026. The Company stated that the rollout includes an integrated ownership ecosystem featuring a hub-and-spoke service network, shop-in-shop retail format and 24x7 roadside assistance. It also noted that the electric motorcycle will be introduced in additional regions through a phased expansion strategy.

Company shares business updates

During the month, Royal Enfield also commemorated its 125th anniversary with the unveiling of a World Origin Site plaque at its first factory location in Redditch, England. The Company opened registrations for the inaugural Himalayan Basecamp – Ladakh Edition, scheduled for September 2026, and flagged off the 22nd edition of the Himalayan Odyssey, featuring three ride formats for participants.

Commenting on the performance, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, said:

"June 2026 was a milestone month for us as we began customer deliveries of the Flying Flea C6 from Bengaluru. The response to the FF.C6 continues to be highly encouraging and we will steadily roll out Flying Flea in other regions over the next few months. Our overall sales continued their growth trend with strong traction for our updated product portfolio across markets."
